Several cities and counties throughout Georgia are implementing ordinances that control or ban billboards or restrict their design and installation. If you are interested in a model ordinance to ban billboards in your community, visit here.

This page will list those ordinances that might provide useful approaches to your city or county. Cities and Counties have the right to impose more restrictive sign ordinances than is contained in the state legislation.
